Turn cooking mode on

Step 1

Place the cream in a mixer with the whisk attachment and whisk for 15-20 minutes or until the butter separates from the buttermilk. Ensure you are using cold cream.

2000 ml Cream

Step 2

Strain out buttermilk and place in a container in the fridge to use in pancakes or other baking.

Step 3

Form butter into a ball and rinse in cold water to ensure all buttermilk is out of the butter and the butter is clean.

Step 4

Form into a square and cut into 6 equal cubes. These are around 1/2 cup cubes or 119 g. Feel free to weigh them for exactness if desired!

Step 5

Place in the fridge until using. May freeze for later.
